WHAT IS SENTRY SHED?
A Suffolk Sentry shed is a delightful little extra space - practical whimsy. Large enough to accommodate the things you need to keep at hand, yet small enough to tuck into a courtyard or the corner of a fabulous secret garden. As you might imagine, the design was borne of military sentry boxes and other familiar and oddly charming street furniture (e.g. old phone boxes, beach huts, outdoor lavatories).
This precarious and eclectic design legacy, in many cases totally unrecorded, has led to Suffolk Sentry's wonderful and interesting vernacular designs.
Suffolk Sentry see the form of Sentry boxes as way to add colour and practical whimsy to your space. Something that is a delight to use, provides visual and tactile interest and makes a uniquely charming gift.
DO YOU PROVIDE FLAT PACK VERSIONS?
Our Sentry Boxes are only available fully-formed.
IS IT REALLY MADE IN THE UK?
Yes, from beginning to end, our Sentry Boxes are hand built and finished in Bungay, Suffolk.

WHAT IS THE CURRENT DELIVERY TIME?
We make these boxes to order. Our lead time is around two weeks. Get in touch and we can advise how quickly we can produce yours.

We currently deliver the orders ourselves to the coloured areas of this map.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY?
Before you order it is very important to:
1. Be sure that the sentry box will fit the space, remember the external and internal dimensions are always different and the roof eaves do overhang at the front and sides. If you are unsure, please get in touch as they are built to order we can make minor adjustments before they reach you.
2. The sentry box can be manoeuvred to your desired spot either through the house or side access. The roof sections are detachable which does make this easier.
3. be happy with the colour. We do sell swatches if you are unsure or can use a range of external paints you specify.
When the sentry box is delivered, please check immediately whilst the driver is still there that you are happy with the condition. We haven't had a problem before, but if you do have concerns we have the ability to either make adjustments there or return the sentry shed at that point. If you are dissatisfied with the sentry box on delivery due to defect or product failure, we will remove it and either repair, replace or refund depending on the concerns you have raised.
